Born out of the turmoil of the Writers Guild strike of 2007, WritersBuild is home to you. If you love to write, wonderful. If you hate to write, even better! Read, write or edit an existing story so it no longer sucks! That's how we do it at the WB. Some people would rather be seen naked in public then have their original story read out loud to the same. Our advice is to read your story out loud in public, naked. Until then, join us on a truly unique writing adventure. All works are Public Domain. If that concerns you, don't write but do feel free to edit or add onto an existing story. If you are here to troll through until you find an idea to steal that ends up making you rich and famous, Welcome! Yes, we said welcome. Take at will. We just ask that you leave behind your own writing so maybe someone else can benefit in like manner.
This is your new community. We'd like you to take a look around and here are a few things that you may want to know. WritersBuild is a place for anyone to contribute their fiction. It is a collaborative effort that allows multiple writers to come together and produce brilliant pieces of art, through discussion and consensus. WB is a place where readers can enjoy original, ongoing ideas of fiction as well as daily humor and finished works. Contributors come from all walks of life. WB doesn't ask for credentials and truly believes that every person has something to offer. 99% of the greatest works in the world will never be seen because they go unpublished, unedited, and unsung. WB is changing that by making everyone, regardless of age or profession, a writer, a copyeditor, and a regular reader.
